According to § 4 of the Act No. 308/2000 Coll. on broadcasting and retransmission and on changes of the Act No.195/2000 Coll. on telecommunications the activities of the Office of the CBR are managed by the Director of the Office. At the same time he acts as head of the office in relation to employees of the Council. He is appointed and recalled by the Council.
From 2006 Mr Ľuboš Kukliš is holding this position. He is also the Council’s representative in European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services (ERGA), where he currently serves as Chair.
